Summary: We stayed in berlin for a whole month but this was by far our favorite experience! She was so nice and knowledgeable and treated us like old friends. We learned so much not only about cooking but about german food in general and culture, as well as some history on berlin! She was amazing with our daughter too and really helped her feel included. I will recommend this to anyone I know coming to berlin!

Summary: The day started at the outdoor market - a farmer's market - discussing what we would cover and what our interests were. We found many things in common about our philosophies of using fresh, local and sustainable meat and produce. After selecting the food, the preparation became a highlight - and the results were so good. Making and snacking on Flammkuchen (German bread with red onions, sour cream and speck) was our first tasty experience. Also enjoyable was learning to use herbs and vegetables specific to German cooking (e.g., Frankfurt green sauce). Important was the low pressure way my wife and I became immersed in the cooking process - and the personalized menu we received later. One of the best cooking classes we've taken in Europe - the shopping aspect makes it special.

Summary: We had a blast with Kit. The market tour was lovely, she knew many vendors and pointed out different ingredients she likes to cook with and seasonal treats. Her home is gorgeous and she's a great host! We'd recommend a tour and class with Kit to anyone in the area!
